Snack Bars To Save You From A 3:00pm Crash!

Need a snack to help beat your 3:00pm crash? Here are a few of my favorite bars!

This is a new bar that I found recently at a gluten-free store. It’s by Pure Bar and they come in a naturals and organic line. This chocolate almond bar was delicious and had the texture of a brownie. It’s made from all natural and organic ingredients and has a total of 7 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber. This bar is also super low sodium at 5 mg!This next bar also has a brownie like texture and is Odwalla’s Choco-walla bar. It also has 5 grams of fiber but only has 4 grams of protein. It’s also low sodium too coming in at 75 mg. It’s also made with natural and organic ingredients and contains vitamins and minerals to keep your body going!Who says Clif Kid’s bars are just for kids? I like to have these for an afternoon sweet tooth pick me up. The sodium is also low ranging between 95 mg – 130 mg. They have the lowest fat of all the bars, coming in between 2.5 – 4 grams of fat and also the lowest calories between 120-130 calories. They do only have 3 grams of fiber in comparison to the others. The flavors are awesome. My favorite right now is the honey graham and my all time favorite is the s’mores.Keeping up with the Clif line we have the original Clif bar. My favorite is the white chocolate macadamia nut but I recently found a new flavor: Coconut chocolate chip! The verdict? Very delicious! Both have 5 grams of fiber and have the highest protein among all the bars, about 9 – 10 grams per bar!Last but not least is the Kind fruit and nut bar. This almonds and apricots bar in yogurt is super yummy. It’s a nice little treat that’s all natural, gluten and wheat free and very low in sodium. Sodium is 15 mg, fiber is 4 grams and has 3 grams of protein. I like to have half of the bar with some vanilla yogurt as dessert. Delicious!
