This weekend was a busy one. I seem to always say this week or weekend was busy. Friday, I moved out of my Northshore apartment and headed up to New Hampshire for Easter weekend. Before leaving, I had a coffee date with my friend.
Mmmm to a hot toasted almond mocha latte.I also had my last official day at one of my spin locations. I will still remain a sub until May. Marvelous is cookies. Spring/ Easter cookies to be more specific. My mom came up Saturday afternoon for Easter weekend to visit. Ice cream is always in order 😉Latley, I’ve been doing more at home workouts to stay active since I don’t have a “gym” membership. Check out these two yoga toning workouts here and here! For Easter Sunday, the in-laws had a nice dinner. And Pat bought me some chocolates. Noms ❤Things should start to slow down this week after work tomorrow. I am excited for an off day on Wednesday. Thanks Katie for hosting MIMM!
I hope everyone has a great week and had a lovely holiday weekend. 🙂
What better way to start a marvelous Sunday morning then with a delicious breakfast and side of Swiss Mocha? Or enjoy a coffee date with your friend at Perfecto’s Caffe post spin; mmm gingerbread muffin and gingerbread cookie iced coffee. This week has been another busy week for me; between work, appointments and getting things done. It feels good to be productive but hopefully Tuesday I’ll be able to relax a bit… since I’m off, finally.Maybe even get to snuggle up with my new, marvelous sweater from Forever 21 and play with this little furball. Marvelous might be enjoying a nice bowl of warm oats.Or maybe pick up my favorite Cool Lime Refresher from Starbucks and an egg whites, cheese and turkey bacon sandwich. And enjoy some marvelous treats; like Skinny Cow’s new iced coffees. Or trying a different petite creme flavor.Either way, it’s going to be a nice day off and I can’t wait. Thanks Katie for hosting MIMM and hope y’all have a great week!Question: What do you typically do on your day off?
Ever heard that song by Andrew W.K?We do what we like and we like what we do. I like to spin and lift, do you?I’ve been very happy with the progress I am seeing. I wish I took mesaruments and such but I know I don’t keep up with them. I like to use my clothes as judgment and of course any new muscle definition.I also like coffee in ample amounts. My friend and I went to Perfecto’s the other day and I had a gingerbread iced latte. Holy deliciousness!Protein pancakes are a must too.Quest bars are always delicious too, speaking of Quest bars… the winner for the giveaway is Agnetha F @therightfoods (IG)! Thanks to everyone that entered and supported the blog. I will definitly have more giveaway to come this summer so stay tuned and enjoy the weekend! 🙂
It’s What I Ate Wednesday post number 100! Thank you Jenn as always for the awesome food party. This week I should you some great eat via Instagram. If you are not following me on IG, then maybe you should! I am also having a chocolate, coconut and things giveaway coming very soon to a blog near you. I know that made no sense, but it sounded cute right? Okay, let’s get to it. Breakfasts have still been the same; raspberries, oats, nut butter, chia seeds and a side of iced coffee. Yep, still the same.Speaking of raspberries, I tried the Quest white chocolate raspberry. My, oh my! I am in love. Now I don’t know which I like more; this one of the cookies and cream. The decisions.Clearly, I’ve been obsessed with berries these days. Oh and lots of Greek yogurt! My mom came to visit this weekend and I took her to Perfecto’s. Again, if you are in Massachusetts, definitely check it out. I got a salt caramel iced decaf and I mixed in some chocolate protein powder. Salted caramel mocha anyone? Training is on point. This time after getting sick a million more times, I think it’s safe to say I know what I must do and SHOULD NOT do. No excuses at all this time and that’s a promise. So loving my quad progress!Questions: How was your Memorial day weekend? Anyone tried the white chocolate raspberry Quest bar? What’s your favorite Greek yogurt brand?
Yeah who are we kidding. It’s been cold in MA (39 degrees last night). I can’t stand it! But I am still craving drinks since my body knows it’s supposed to be warm. For this What I Ate Wednesday, I am going to show you all the yummy drinks I’ve been consuming this week. Head on over to Peas and Crayons for more food party madness! One morning, I had a delicious coconut almond latte. Perfecto’s is a must check out if you are in the area. I can’t wait to try their maple spice flavor next.Since I fell in love with the coconut flavor, I picked this coconut macaroon coffee up from Target. It is delicious and life changing. Okay maybe not the latter, but you get the idea! How about a spinach, banana, peach protein smoothie for lunch!Or maybe my favorite blueberry, flax, banana, spinach and almond milk protein smoothie?A light peach mango muscle milk post workout? Yes please! How about a gluten-free apple cider?Nothing beats a homemade latte with cinnamon, vanilla protein and almond milk to end the night.Question: What’s your favorite way to end an evening?
